Don’t let the bad paint job put you off, this bohemian restaurant/bar serves up tasty European cuisine, wines and beers. Keith’s is oozing with personality and attracts people from all walks of life. Food is very reasonably priced and of course, there is an excellent selection of wines. There are some bottled beers and shorts available. Let your inner hippy loose and give those purse strings a break, try out this alternative restaurant.

Shabby old Keith’s is full of character and always has a great atmosphere. The food however is changeable to say the least!
Generally though you can’t go wrong with the ‘light bites’ on the menu. The soup & cheesy garlic bread is the best on the Lane. Also the potato wedges and nachos are worth a mention. Lovely quiche and salad too. But the chef’s specials change daily, but the quality and quantity changes from day to day too. It seems to depend on which chef is in! When it’s good, it’s very good; but when it’s bad it’s awful.
For example I had the best veggie lasagne I’ve ever tasted in here one week. Another week an amazing feta & leek filo pie. Yum! But the next week I had a horrible pasta dish which was little more than some overcooked tagliatelle, served with a very thin, runny tomato sauce (which tasted like watered-down Dolmio).
It is all very cheap though, so if you’re skint it’s well worth a punt.

I eat at Kieths on a regular basis. Once a month. The cheesey garlic bread and soup is to die for. I order it often depending on what soups they have to offer that day. The salads are nice, too.
Also, Kieths have a massive range of wines to choose from. I particulary like the Chilean Sauvignon Blanc.
