Dear Lark Laners,
Clear your diaries and make sure you stick around this weekend. So the Lark Lane Festival got postponed, but wipe away the those tears – we have plenty to entertain you with! Here’s the plan:
- Set your alarm early on Saturday to get up and be ready for the Farmers Market at 9am. Ditch the supermarket and get your fresh locally sourced groceries.
- Next, head on up to the Old Police Station and take a look at the Art & Craft Markets – it’s free to get in from 10am.
- Get your lunch in early because (drumroll please) the music festival Africa Oye kicks off at 12.30pm in Sefton Park.
- Once you’ve partied your socks off, don’t forget to come back to the lane for your dinner and/or drinks at the end of the evening.
That’s Saturday taken care of, on Sunday we’ll let you have a bit of a lie in before you have to get back to the lane for a fry-up brekkie, then continue the party with the second day of Africa Oye.
