Myself and a few friends came to check this place out after hearing about the refurb, we weren’t disappointed! Great selection of pizzas with very alternative toppings. The base is so important and the chef nailed it. Wasn’t as expensive as we thought it would be either! Quality good for a good price. We really loved the vibe and the staff are so friendly. We’ll be back soon!

Really like the industrial feel with the wood and vinyls. The comic book theme is interesting and different which sets it apart from other bars on the lane. The pizzas are really tasty and good value for money and they always have some fab beers and ales on! Staff were all helpful and smiley! Will be visiting again.

Been 3 times now, great selection of beers, weird but wonderful pizzas and helpful friendly staff. Don’t understand the previous comments, I love it.

Might be the ugliest and most unpleasant looking pub I’ve been in. The L&R theme isn’t even half-arsed! Hernandez prints blown up so you can see the pixels, horrendous lighting and plywood that looks like you’d get a splinter as soon as stand near it.

A shame, because Bier was lovely.

I ate some of this because I’d already paid for it but this was literally one of the worst things that I’ve ever eaten. We were one of only two tables that had ordered food but still had to wait over half an hour for two pizzas. When we eventually got out food half of the topping were missing and the other half was either stale or limp. We asked for some mayo as they forgot to put sauce on and it was horrifically dry, and the mayo was warm. Not room temperature, but warm. Will never be back.

Bring back Bier! Average pizza- the sort of pizza you might have made in year 9 food tech!

This establishment is an utter disgrace. Watered down ‘craft’ beer, plywood furnishing that is falling apart and tearing clothes, bar staff that are unsure of everything including their own existence apparently, and food that is a tasteless and a poor approximation of ‘diners, drive ins, and dives’, which is in turn a poor approximation of food. And i don’t even want to mention the ming that is the toilets. Avoid at all costs.

On a positive note the pizza was very nice. However, the person who brought the pizza didn’t bring any cutlery. I had to go to the bar to get cutlery and whilst there I asked for some napkins and was given a roll of kitchen roll ! The other problem is that you have to go to the bar to order food and drinks so I was at the bar ordering a second round of drinks when the food arrived which wasn’t ideal. I think they need to decide if they are a food venue or a bar as, in my opinion, it is neither one or the other at the moment and I’m afraid it doesn’t work.

Waited 35 minutes for the first pizza to come, 5 minutes more for the second and the third pizza didn’t even come. Spoke to 3 different members of staff and only one apologised. Totally useless. Chef knew he hadn’t even started the third pizza but started making them for 4 people who arrived and ordered after us then proceeded to go out for a cigarette rather than making our pizza that we waited almost an hour for in total.
