Beware you wont get your food together, you get it one at time. And then you will be harassed by about 5 waitresses, every few minutes asking if you have finished and taking each bowl at a time. Food was great but it was not an unpleasant experience as you cant simply relax and enjoy the food and time with the person your with. I would never go again.

Just a wonderfully refreshing expereince – first time at the Monkey Grinder. Very impressed with the food offering, selction of drinks ( do miss not having Persecco on listing) but hey thats just a personal choice. Excellent customer service and attentive professional staff – took me back to chilling in the Meditterian and just people watching. Well done indeed to all concerned with this little gem. FAB INTERIOR DESIGN!!

The food is literally exquisite at Monkey Grinder, all served beautifully and in a very timely manner. The staff waiting on are very polite and keen to help. We were offered a taste of the wine before selecting to ensure total satisfaction. A very nice setting, friendly staff and scrupulously clean.

We had friends up from London and the four of us had lunchtime tapas with some cocktails. The tapas was lovely. The best patatas bravas, and the sea bass was gorgeous. The service was very good and decor is really nice.

The monkey grinder is a great addition to lark lane.

Had a beautiful birthday meal in the first Saturday the restaurant opened. Due to the FA cup final it wasn’t massively heaving but I have to say the food was beautiful. The tapas arrived once it was ready so each dish would come at a different time but it wasn’t too far apart. The staff were great and the general atmosphere and decor was befitting of a Lark Lane restaurant. I also highly recommend the cocktails specifically passion punch. Big thumbs up to Monkey Grinder.
