We were very disappointed with our experience here. The menu outside sounded great and it was full , which we took to be a good sign. However, as soon as we started placing an order it went down hill. The food was greasy in some instances and dry in others, even looked twice fried . Very average . Needless to say we won’t be back. Staff attitude not great either.

The Lark Bistro is a great new addition to Lark Lane, it literally caters for everyone, the veggie and vegan options are the best around.
I have been twice now once with my partner and then with my friend and our 4 kids.
The Lamb burger was seasoned to perfection and comes with dual chips (fries and sweet potato fries). My husband had the sea bass and said it was delicious.
The Russian dumplings are to die for-the stock mmmmm

Our kids all shared a few portions of halloumi fries and they were fab.
I’m taking a group of girl friends there next week and I’ve said we should order one of everything off the small plates menu, the spiced cauliflower sounds immense! I highly recommend you try this one out, u won’t be disappointed!

First time back here since it has been refurbished. It looks great and the food is still fantastic! Love the small plates and the new dishes. There’s more choice and diversity in the menu now and I appreciated the wide choice of gin!! Efficient and friendly staff were attentive but not over bearing. Would highly recommend.

Had the Goat’s cheese and pepper sandwich from the lunch menu, it was just gorgeous and great value for money! When we went in the evening we shared Halloumi fries, the Russian ravioli, the crispy lamb rolls and a couple of other bits and it was all very tasty. Staff were friendly and attentive. Definitely recommend!
